Here is my attempt at the Lock Box plan that Steve has on the blog.  Was a little tricky...but turned out great.  Very cool project idea...made mine from pine and walnut.

Really nice!  I like that a lot.  I want to do some work today but it's so damp and cold in the garage  :(

Looks interesting.  And I bet it would make a great gift.  Thanks for showing us.  I just might have to try boxes come summer, when I have more time.
