Title: retirement pattern for a knitter/sewer/quilter

I have a friend who just retired, she is a quilter who is just starting to take up knitting, I would love to make her something related, I've researched a few places but no luck - thanks

My wife is a quilter, but not into knitting, if you could give me an idea of what you have in mind I could ask her for an idea or two.

I guess I was thinking some cutesy saying with a sewing machine or a couple knitting needles ???

My wife sews and does crouchet(SP?) and she said that those would work for her so Iam going to say yep those would work in the sewing machine.

That sounds like a winner, I don't believe the wife and I could top that. I'd probably like a copy too if Grampa works his usual magic!

Great job!! Love the pattern.
We should have one for us scrollers like "friends are like patterns, you can never have enough" with a scroll saw.
