Title: Bowl
Post by: jimbo on February 22, 2011, 02:12:52 am
This a sheila Landry design bowl in the making, it is now fully assembled waiting for the finishing, not as easy as it looks I had some problems as the measurements were not in metric and I cut the slats one mil too  thick and had problems fitting it together, will make adjustments next one I make

I hope you put pictures of the finished bowl up when you are done.  Yes, they are not the easiest things to make.  The slats need to fit well in the notches and it can be a challenge. I call them 'skill builder' patterns.  My partner designs that line and we both try really hard to make the instructions clear so people can understand them and accomplish them.  I will be looking forward to seeing the finished bowl.
