Title: Clock inserts
Post by: dgman on February 16, 2011, 10:33:04 am
Todays blog entry by Steve lists several sources for clock inserts. Sloan's has the best price anywhere, and they have the best quality too! www.sloanswoodshop.com

I've been looking for a supplier, thought I could save time and go to Hobby-Lobby but they don't even carry them ??? but I agree with dgman it appears Sloans is best with those I have compared

I agree...only place I get my inserts from is Sloans, and yes, I think they have the best quality as well.  They also have the different sizes of photo inserts as well.

Vote No. THREE for Sloan's for clock inserts!

Save up your projects and buy 5 at a time for better savings!

I also agree, www.sloanswoodshop.com (http://www.sloanswoodshop.com) is where I buy mine. David & Rhonda Sloan are very nice and friendly. Never had a problem.  :)

I also buy mine at slones, they have the best quality good service, and besides they  don't have the plastic rings, which I haste.  Edward

wow, I can buy three at slones for what I pay locally. I haven't thought about it much, usually I have a project I want a clock for right away. I am going to order a few and have them on hand. Thanks for pointing out the savings!

Boy Scout motto..."Be Prepared"!

I bought 10 before Christmas just thinking I might make some things and include clocks.
Now have six left and a whole stack of new projects for various gifts and requests so I am covered!

Being a 'cook' I kind of take patterns the same way I treat recipes...as a 'starting point' and adapt to my likes. So I often will take a pattern and 'adapt' it to include a clock just to 'spiff it up' as it were.

I do alot of mini-clocks. I use Wildwood Designs. Their located in Janesville Wis. I've had very good luck dealing with them. Prices are competitive. And I'll have the clocks in 3 days. Dave 8)
