Hey everyone. My name is Nick and this is my first post / question. I have been looking for some Box Elder and Hackberry lumber for a couple of days now on the internet, but have had no real luck. I'm really like the look of Box Elder on projects, especially the ones that I have seen from Wayne and Jacob Fowler. If anyone knows of a site that has some of this wood, and don't have to buy a truck load at a time, that would be most excellent.

Hi Nick, welcome from the Netherlands.
I'm sorry I cant help you with the website, but I'm sure a lot of the other members will try to.

Welcome to the Forum, Nick. Use the links on Steve's blog. Just go down the list until you find it. I know I have seen both on one of those websites.

Thanks for the help! I found the Hackberry at WestPennhardwords, but they are out at the moment. I guess I will have to keep looking.
To Marcellarius: I used to live in the Netherlands in the mid 1980's. A little town called Luesden near Amhersfort. I wish I could remember some of the language!! I loved growing up over there. My dad was stationed at Sosterberg Air Force Base.

Hi Nick, that's great! for the record, the towns are Leusden, Amersfoort and the airbase was Soesterberg.
two years ago all the aircrafts and helicopters went away and the airstrip was given back to the local government to become nature again.

Well, after a little searching, I finally found some Box Elder from CookWoods.com. Still not much luck with the Hackberry, but I will keep looking.
