A well thought out and engineered accomodation to the available space he had to work with. "Clever those Chinese."
Brings to mind a gentleman who did some cabinet renovation and building here in our old log cabin. he was half Chinese and German and a talented craftsman. Possesed with a great sense of humor, we became good friends, sadly he passed on a few years ago, he is missed. He Would have appreciated this group.
He was quick with quips like the one above underlined.

strange - 1-2 weeks ago we saw a house for rent on one of those estate agent webpages. My wife found out which house it is. It's located in her home town (in the outskirts of Munich).
So yesterday we drove by just to see it from the outside. The owner was there, just closing the door. So we talked to him, got shown around - and if not all else fails we will be moving!
The house has the same square size as the one we are currently living in - but has one room more. So the rooms are smaller. The owner is just doing a renovation - both bathrooms and all floors will be brand new!
Best of all is the price, which is quite affordable (Munich is the absolute most expensive town in Germany, rents are at least twice as high). AND we are saving the agent fee :D (2.5 x of rent!).
so - we might need some help. Anyone ;D
