So I was browsing Craigslist and found a couple of old Stanley planes for $25 a piece. So the Wife and I went shopping today and drove up to the place where the planes were. It was really a nice place in Poulsbo, WA. They had all kinds of nautical stuff in the store. So I got my two planes, that need major work due to the age and condition of them. As I was paying for the planes I noticed a Jet benchtop oscillating spindle sander. I was looking to buy one, but didnt plan on it until mid march or early April because they are around $425 new. So the guy wanted $150 for it. SO me and the wife go eat lunch and then go to the grocery store and I realize I have over $150 in my beer bottle bank. So I talk the wife into letting me get the spindle sander. So now I can finish the bowls I started that need sanding on the inside.

I am on leave right now and me and the wife are both sick, got colds. I had to run to work today as well. Hopefully will have the first 2 bowls completed tomorrow, I did some sanding on them tonight. The sander works great.

I never spend my change, it all goes into piggy banks and 10% of my wood sales goes in there too. That is what I use to buy new tools. You would be suprised at how fast it adds up.
