I have made over 30 of these so far , not sure that I'll make anymore yet . They are made out of 1/4" Walnut material that I milled up from 4"x4"s . I just love using Walnut , getting low in material > got some more ordered in 4"x4" stock from the mill .............

Have you seen these butterflys? You might try some or try adapting yours to angled wings. I have made several of these from plywood and they are well liked. The pattern and pictures are on this link.

Really nice and beatiful butterfly?s, my wife love this at scrollsaw decorations around all the house and garden, if someone can send to me patterns per mail it would be grateful very much
