Hey!
I recently complained about my saw and some vibrations (Clickedy (http://stevedgood.com/community/index.php?topic=4059.0)).
I saw Marshall have done a butterfly really beautifully and tonight I tried to go for the high goal and to try the butterfly myself. I changed the size a bit - it's 8" x 8". Took me about 2 hours of fun in the wood shop. it's 1/8" birch ply and a piece of beech for the body.
And here it is:

Of courses not as good as Marshall's butterfly!
But hey, it looks neat and made me convinced of what I'm doing :)
Need to apply oil tomorrow.
now it's time to wash the dust of and get a beer...
regards,
Torsten
