Title: XMas Gifts
Post by: sp_343 on December 12, 2010, 02:50:00 pm
These are 4 pieces that I have cut for Christmas gifts.

This isn't so much a "brag" about my pieces...but more about the Flying Dutchman blade I have been using.  I have completed these 4 and almost done with another one and I am still using the same FD Ultra Reverse blade.  I wonder how long it will last???

Very nice and a great job!  What size blade did you use?  I'm planning on ordering soon after reading all the positive comments about the FD blades.

Karl:

I order a few different sizes.  FD #1, #3, #5, #7 & #9.  I also have a few Olson blades...and they are really good too...but they don't seem to stay as sharp for as long as the Flying Dutch blades.

I used an FD Ultra Reverse #1 on all of these patterns.

Mike is amazing to deal with also.  I place and order and get an e-mail confirmation very soon.  The shipment time is quick and the product is outstanding.  They would work well for you.

Excellent job Chris, the wine one is my pick. I also use FD UR #1 and #3, and am impressed with the blade life.
