Title: Christmas ornament Question
Post by: dgman on November 18, 2010, 09:18:14 pm
For those of you who do shows, Do you add a string or ribbon to hang the ornament to the tree, or do you let the customer do it? If you do, what do you use?

I think it depends on the type you are selling.  On the Wildlife and Arrow Head I do, I use twine to give them a more natural look.  Other than that, what ever I think matches or better yet, clean fishing line.

I use 1/8" red or green ribbon. I get bit at Michaels or Joanns fabrics. .50 per 30yard roll.

2mm red/gold/green/blue ribbon, not all on the one ornament.
I think 2mm is about 1/16 inch.

I almost always use cord or ribbon.  Sometimes fishing line, if I don't want it to be seen.
