Nice job. Some of them look just like the ones I just did. :D
With food coloring, If they stick them in their mouths the food coloring will make them a mess unless it is sealed well with something non toxic.

They look nice Merlin, Good variety also.

Hey Judy!
With the food coloring do you seal everything you do or just what might be considered a toy and end up in a mouth?
-
I only use the food coloring on ornaments and such. Nothing for youngsters.
-
nice job.

Merlin what book did these come out of? i have a great neice that would love these
-
great job there.

Nice work, I like them. Thanks for posting. 8)

Using food coloring or any other water based coloring you need to seal it all. Kids, especially young ones have been known to throw their toys in the tub, toilet and sink from time to time. Nothing like having a kid take a bath and come out looking like a half colored Easter Egg. hehe

Merlin, what kind of wood did you use and how thick? They look great. Dave
