After making my wife a keepsake box...I decided to make one for myself to keep all of the "trinkets" that I collected while working as a city Police Officer. Badges, pins, patches, etc...
Made the box from Aspen and Mahogany. Cut the "571" out (my old badge number) of the top, then put on the lid liner. Filled the "571" with clear epoxy resin and sanded it flat. Finished it with Danish Oil and Shellac. Lined it with some DonJer flocking. Pattern is from a Gary MacKay book.
Thanks for looking!
