Lisa just ordered me an Excalibur 30. I'm so excited!

Wow Bill! What a wonderful wife!
-
Where did you get her from, mine only got me a 21, AH I think that was me

Way to go. What did you have to do, promise, etc. to get that? LOL
-
I am soooo excited for you, Bill!!! Can't wait to see what comes off of it first.

Russ,
I didn't know she was going to do it, but after she did I said, "Go through all my patterns and pick anything you want me to make for you." :D
I'm not sure where she found this one, but she chose the "rebuild the deck" pattern with the optional "run speakers out to it."

Bill,
You had me worried for a second.... The World's greatest wife lives with me! (there must be a tie for first)
Seriously, Congrats on having someone special who understands the joy your hobby brings you.
Make sure you spoil her back, these good ones are hard to find!

Good wife , that one!
Ok, first let me say I was always the worlds best wife ;) but now that I am a widow I guess I don't qualify.
But I have been wanting to know what makes the Excalibur better than the 788? I am considering "trading up"
-
I alway tell people, except for her taste in men, she's perfect.
Once I use it a couple of times, I'll let y'all know what I think the difference is between the two saws.
I lost my first wife, so I know what that's like. I was very blessed to find Lisa.

congrats Bill, always nice to look forward to a present

You"ll love your new saw. I have had mine for 8 years, Great for large work. I just finished a special order ( 3'x5' ) with mine.
Carlton :)

Judy, The head tilts instead of the table and it has a lifetime warranty. It also has less vibration than the 788. Dewalt got the arm configuration from General. The base of the saw holds 12 tubes for blades.

I'll grant you - a great wife! However, when my lathe developed problems I asked my wife (world's greatest wife plus one!) whether to repair or replace her reply was "do both - you need a backup"!
-
You're right. She's a keeper too!
