Here is a letter opener I made for selling at a horse show my daughter will be at in October:
Horse Head: Dirk Boelman, Creative Woodworks & Crafts, Nov. 2004, p. 36
Letter Opener bottom: Sue Mey, Holiday Ornaments, Toys & Gifts Vol. 2, (SSW&C), p. 84
Length: 9" long
Wood: Ipe (I think. It did smell when cutting.)
Finish: none, yet? (sanded with a flutter wheel 120 grit)

I don't know the dutch translation jet for Ipe, but I think it's a nice dark wood you got there.
