Title: bargain
Post by: Marcellarius on August 28, 2010, 07:19:56 am
I just bought a brand new dust cloak on a fair for $ 6,--
a long one that comes far below my knees.
actualy it's a old model with two rows of buttons.

as I write this I wander what everyone else uses to protect their clothes from getting dusty?

I don't use anything - I just get dusty.  It makes my husband think I worked hard today.

I wear old Levi's & cut off tee-shirts. And I can't forget my do-rag to keep sawdust out of my hair. Dave 8)

I don't use anything either. My dust collection system on my scroll saw works so well I don't get any dust on me. If I do when I am sanding or using another tool, I just use the air hose to clean myself off.  8)

My daughter-in-law made me an apron with a BIG pocket at the chest area.  The way I am built it works just right to catch the spit seeds as I saw. ;D. I use an air compressor to get most of the sanding dust off, shower and wash machine takes care of the rest.

I don't use anything either, to much of a hassle some old cloth and I brush off the dust with a brush. Butknowing the prices you did get yourself a bargain.

I do sometimes wear an apron when I am painting or staining to protect my clothes.  8)

Spring, summer, fall....'work' shorts and 'work' tee shirt

Winter...whatever I need to be warm, usually work jeans and a fleece hoodie.

When I finish for the day/night I use the air hose to blow the dust off my body and head for a shower.

Not to sure what you mean by undies jimbo ???

"what do you wear when you go out?"

If you are talking about to the store or when me and my wife go out to dinner. Shorts. I only wear pants if it is a formal event that requires them.  8)
