I was looking if I could find a pattern of a carriage clock for Janet, but instead stumbled across this. Thought I would share it.http://www.shopnotes.com/issues/094/extras/cutoff-storage-bins/

Here is one I built several years ago.
It has 15 compartments and measures 20"x 30" (about 34" tall) and is on wheels so I can move it around the shop if nessary.

Hey Rog, Nice Rack!
-
That looks cool Rog. The wheels are a good idea. Just I don't have the space for it, was thinkng of building a storage in our cupboard under the stairs. My nephew says it's ok.

LMAO @ julie's comment! hahaha!
Isn't it better to lay wood flat?
-
It is "FLAT" it is just verticle instead of horizontal!!
I have learned that it really doesen't matter much unless you have it leanining on a big angle, and also the shorter (5' or less) boards don't warp much if you can keep all the sides exposed to air more or less. Even if you store lumber horizontaly you should put stickers between the layers for air movement.
Rog
PS one of my pet peeves is people who don't understand that "flat" and "level" are NOT the same things. ;D ;D ;D ;D
