Title: Scroll Saw Demo
Post by: dgman on August 19, 2010, 12:02:08 am
This Past Sunday was our woodworkers club annual summer picnic. I was asked to do a scroll saw demo. I spent about three hours cutting Round Tuits. You Know, When I get around to it. I cut about 50 of these, stack cut four layers of 1/8" Baltic birch. Gave them away to anyone who wanted one. For demo porpoises, I didn't cut the backer.

So much fun can be had when we share our talents and hobbies. Some of the nicest people are met during those times.

Nice job and a nice gesture to promote the hobby!

What kind of wood did you use?

I used 1/8" Baltic birch stacked four layers without the backer to knock them out as fast as I could. Did about fifty!
