Title: Mom and Pop having coffee.
Post by: ChaplainRon on August 16, 2010, 06:21:17 pm
This is my first attempt at making a cutting from a photograph. I made this for my mother. My dad passed April 2009. They have called in Hospice for my mother who is battling cancer. The pattern is from a photo i made Aug 2007.

ChaplainRon - I just lost my MIL from cancer.  Hospice was wonderful... I don't know how we could have managed without them.  I just wish we'd have called them sooner.  It is stressful for you I'm sure.  But it's a gift to be able to take care of a loved one during this time.  I never would have thought I'd ever think this, but the end of life can be beautiful.  God bless you and your family.

About your project, that picture is dear.  I'm sure she'll love it.
