I received this in the email this a.m.
Is this for real?
HEMA is a Dutch department store.
The first store opened on November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam. Now there are 150 stores all over
the Netherlands.
Take a look at HEMA's product page - just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.
DON'T click on any of the items in the picture, just wait.
This company has a sense of humor and a great computer programmer, who has too much time on his hands.

That is actually kind of cool. If it is real that is one of the best advertising gimmicks I have seen in a while.

That looks like HEMA humor all right. Thanks for posting GB, agree with you great programmer. They where in the news just a while back with their back to school action. They gave tips on making criptnotes to students, how to use products and stick your notes in them or where to hide them. The scholing system was not happy with them. If you looked carefully they only gave tips that everybody knew and that where so obvious that no teacher would fall for them. Thought it was quite funny.

Really cool web site. Never seen one like that before. 8)

That was fun - now if all the adds came like that we would just have to read them to see what happens.
