Title: Axminster AWFS18 Scrollsaw
Post by: drigolin on August 03, 2010, 03:59:36 am
Continuing my research for a good scroll saw under 400 Euros I have found this one:

It seems to be an Hegner clone and looking around I found many good feedbacks about that saw.
18" depth and it seems to be compatible with Hegner accessories like the quick blade clamp.

Ciao.

Yes it is a Hegner clone, In NZ it's called Carb-A-Tec.
It is a nice saw and I replaced the top blade clamp for the Quick Release from Hegner, also the bottom blade clamps cause they are turned with a key not Allen screw (which can/did strip out).

If you do buy one I think you will be please with it.
