Title: Desktop laser

Steve,  I saw your review of the desktop laser and others on Youtube.  Everyone seems to use plywood or softwoods.
Did you try it on hardwoods such as Walnut, hard Maple, Purpleheart, etc?  If so, how were the results, especially
sharpness in small letters?

I have been looking closely at this type of laser.

Scott at https://woodcraftbyscott.com/  posted the video below.  It was all done on popular. 

There is a Facebook group devoted to the NEJE laser and you might want to check about other woods there.  I know there are a lot of pens lasered with different woods.
