Title: Hi From Lincolnshire
Post by: Clive125 on August 17, 2019, 01:01:29 pm
Hi everyone,

My name is Clive and I am 74 and a beginner with the scrollsaw, I used to do quite a few things with a handheld fretsaw many years ago and now I'm well and truly retired thought I would give scroll sawing a go. I have just purchased a Record SS16V scrollsaw that I have just unboxed. I hope to learn from this forum and website quite a lot of useful hints and tips.

Welcome to Steve's blog.  Lot's of talented folks browse through here and are quite helpful.  I am sure you will find it educational.  I took up scrolling a couple of years ago and continue to learn.  Regards >> GLC in Cypress, Texas

Hello Clive,

Glad to see you picking up a great hobby.  I looked at your scroll saw and I see it may be good for a starter saw.  Consider saving up for a better one if you find you like the hobby.

Welcome to the forum.
