Hi: I'm Steve (aka Pmariner) and hail from Connecticut. Got interested in scroll sawing a couple months ago, after seeing a couple of Steve Goods videos on You Tube, while researching on making a natural finish to apply to toy blocks I made for my grandchildren. I'm semi retired so have some time on my hands While watching the videos, I thought hey scroll sawing looks a lot more interesting and fun than just cutting blocks out of poplar. I watched all of Steve Goods and several other videos from other craftsman and decided to purchase a DW788. I've since made a couple of Steve's patterns and some animal puzzles from Judy and Dave Peterson's book. I'm really enjoying myself and hope to gain some knowledge from all the folks on this forum.
