Title: Hegner scrollsaw bellows renewal tip

Hi everyone
I have a tip for all the Hegner  owners who have to renew the bellows because they are brittle with age.Forget the $30  for a new one go to your auto store and spend $5 on a CV joint for a compact or smaller car. The one that fits the British Mini is ideal if not make sure it is a universal type so you can cut it to the required size .
It works a treat and will last forever, the pic shows the new bellows in place with the surplus rings removed.

Many thanks for the info. I have replaced them once already, with the genuine Hegner part, but will definitely try your idea the next time.
