Title: Scrollnado
Post by: Buey1 on December 21, 2018, 09:49:53 pm
Today I installed a Scrollnado on my DW788 and have a noise from the bottom tube.  The top of the bottom blade clamp is hitting the bottom tube on its upstroke.  The tube is tight to the bottom surface of the cast iron top.  There just is not enough room for the tube to prevent the blade clamp from hitting it.  Anyone else have this problem with the Scrollnado?  It really makes a lot of noise.

Don’t have one.  Can you move it just a bit, or trim it a bit?  Steve Good did a review of it, maybe an email to him.

I saw Steve's video but he had no apparent problem like this is.  The tube is tight to the bottom of the table where the top of the lower clamp strikes it.  Just not enough room for the tube.
