Title: Cutting Baltic Birch
Post by: Buey1 on November 14, 2018, 07:29:34 am
Steve: RE: your post today...Woodcrafters will cut their 5'x5' sheets of Baltic Birch down to size for free.  I have them cut a sheet into 16"x 30" size that I can then easily use on the DW788.

That's good to know.  Thanks, I'll have to check out the one in my area.

I buy mine from Peacocks in Oshawa.  3mm is $15.95 and 6mm is 25.60 per sheet. (plus 13% tax)

They give you one cut to allow for loading in car.  I buy 2 sheets at a time and have then stack cut to 30" x 30".  Takes them a bit to figure out is still 2 cuts. If not $1 per cut.
