I live very close to Toronto and was wondering if anyone has found an led bulb that works in the dw88 factory light. Thanks and happy scrolling.

I don't have the regular dewalt but a desk/ work light. I left my light on, the goose neck sagged dropping the bulb to close to the blower tube and burnt a hole in it. good thing I was in the shop as it could cause a fire. So Led would probably be safer

Bought one for mine, just went to lowes and bought a 25 watt candelabra base and it works fine, made sure was a daylight buld.

I replaced my default Dewalt light sometime ago with LED lighting. I have currently an abundance of light in and around my saw. It is very will lit. ALL of the lighting is LED, much brighter, and safer. I think that they all should come with LED lighting.

I cant find any led bulbs that fit this lamp i hate the orange glow it gives off. I found a 40 watt, but its way to hot as i am in the habit of moving my light while cutting. Made that mistake once and put the old one back in

Sounds like Jimm found the solution that we were looking for with the "daylight LED bulb w/ candelabra base". GLC

Not a bulb but good replacement for the li8ght. On Amazon they are less than $20 led sewing machine or tool lights. Strong magnet and more than enough light with 20 led's

I agree WynnD, I got 2 of these last November and use them on both my scroll saw and lathe. they give plenty of light, and are reasonably priced. I had not been thinking in these terms for this thread until I read your post.

Check at Ikea - I think that is where I got mine
