Title: How do I copy free fonts to my pc

I know I have read this somewhere on the forum, but cannot seem to find it again. So somebody please enlighten me. I have downloaded a font but cannot get it in the font file on my pc I need to download two fonts for a project the one I found on dafont, but the other I have yet come across as free. maybe you can help in that way also the fonts name: myriad pro.

Configuration >> fonts >> file >> install new fonttype ?

Once they are downloaded, you may have to decompress them.  You can right click on the font file and there should be an "install" command on the list.  Otherwise you can open your font file in the control panel  and drag the file into it and it will install it.

You may need to restart certain applications (such as Adobe Illustrator) to see the newly installed font.

I wish I could help.  There are lots of folks who don't know much about computers....I am one who doesn't even suspect anything.
