Hi new friends. I am new to enjoying a scroll saw but have looked at them for years with thoughts of one day when I have the time?..
Last year I picked up a Craftsman single speed monster at a garage sale and have used it to make some copies of a puzzle that belonged to my grandfather. Well it was fun and the saw worked but reading this form and finding that there are much better tools to work with I started to want more?.. you know how it is right?
I sold some photography studio lights I am not using, and bought a Dewalt 788 from Grizzley.com. It should be here soon. I also ordered an assortment of blades from Mike. Now all I need is wood.
I can?t wait to make some of the Steve?s patterns. Then I want to try my hand at Christmas toys for my three grandsons.
I hope some day we can have a cup of coffee together and swap lies? Anybody else fish?

Hey Ron! You will love ol' yella when it comes. I bought mine from grizzly also. I got a sander from there also that I really love. I can't tell you if their customer service is good because I've never had a problem with anything I've bought from them.
Glad to have you in the forum!!!
