Great, at least you can do some sawing now. How are they working for you? 8)
-
Looks like a nice place to hang out.
-
They work fine Russ, just had to get used to the fact that there's no variable speed control on them. But so far it's like going through butter and very smooth.
Janet you are right it is a fun place to hang out, go there every monday and thursday and as from august every friday morning as well.

Nice saws david.
I heard that proxxon saws are quietly, is that thrue?
don't try to saw stereo, You might some bandage then ;)
-
I see them sitting on what appears to be a single thickness of plywood.
Are they bolted down?
How is the vibration factor.
Wish our folks around this part of the world had such a nice place to hang out and "play"!

Nice setup there. Enjoy the time.

Very little vibration. They are quite at least a loy quiter than the hegner taht gave up and far less vibration. They are not bolted down GB but they behave pretty well by staying on the spot or ok almost there is little movement. They are set up on a single mdf plate but that does not really show on the pic. Marcellarius I will not try to saw in stereo I promise I love my scrolling to much to loose some fingers by trying two saws at one go.

Nice set up. Bet your gonna be busy now. Now my question is; What are you gonna use 2 saws for? One set up for thick and maybe larger items and the other for smaller like ornaments and stuff?

I am not the only scroller in the group, although I am the only one doing it all the time, there are now 2 more people I am trying to get as hooked as I am. A new guy started on Thursday afternoon and he loved it, he is a natural as far as I can see. He started scrolling alphabet letters after a practice round of about 15 minutes. They made me "chief scroller" :P and asked me to help people who want to start. So who knows we might need more saws in a while :P.

Nice looking saws, it is a nice looking place, we had a place simmilar [called it the Menz Shed] but the local council booted us out said they were pulling the place down, that was 8 months ago and guess what?

So we should start calling you "Chief Scroller Dawie"!! ;D

Just keep it to Dawie and David thanks dgman and jimbo as to your guess what. The building is still standing after 8 months so you guys could have had the place longer.
