i JUST NOTICE A KNOCKING IN MY SCROLL SAW IT IS A CRAFTSMAN IS IT suppose to do that and if not what can i do to fix it .
any help would be great thank you

It's not supposed to be making any knocking noises. That generally is a bad thing. It could be a bearing or something as simple as a broken spring. Does it do it on all speeds and all amounts of tension?

Have you moved either of the safety guards/work holders up/down so that they're being caught by the arms as they move? That's quite a simple error to make that I fell foul to a few times before I took them off.

on the guards you were talking about where are they at maybe i can try that ?

They hold the work down and protect your fingers, there's one above and one below the table (depending on your model.)
