Post by: Lejon on July 23, 2010, 01:53:26 pm
Here's my first attempt at taking a photo and submitting it. It is a Volker Arnold Pattern.
I found the pattern on a CD I got from

This is really a beautiful scene!  I everything about it.  You did a wonderful job on it.  Does it light up?  Thanks so much for showing everyone.

I love those Lichterbogen's.  Like Shelia, does it light up?  Those always seem so fragile.  Great job and thanks for showing us.

Thanks for all your comments.
Yes it is fragile, (1/8 Baltic Birch) and it does light up. My problem is figuring out how to take a picture that would show the details and the lights. I'm open to any suggestions.

If your camera has settings that you can play with, that might help.  Take another picture in a dimly lit area.  I have had to practice with mine on photos with lights like Christmas time.

I'll post one of mine next week and you can see how to make the lights show.

Great work, and yes they are fragile,  and for taking a picture what I have learned is to take the picture on an angle, and you don't get the glare from the flash, and it should show up better.  Edward
