It's not just you...since I spend so much time in my shop, that's where the CD carousel is.  It holds 200 CD's and it's nearly full.  Everything from Beethoven to some of Hubby's Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan.  Some of my favorites are Scotty McCreery, Jackie Evancho, Josh Groban, Susan Boyle and the Irish Tenors.  Mix in lots of Schubert, Liszt, Mendelssohn and Brahms and I can stay out there for hours.

Not just you Jim.  I generally listen to good modern Country, but I was raised on Rock and have no problem listening to it as I work.  Either will do just fine:)

I listen to books from Audible. There are some fantastic ones and they keep me tied to the saw.  ;D

I listen to classic rock, 60's, 70's and 80's.  Prefer the rock to the ballads.

I get out my iPod and fire up Pandora and listen to Irish Pub songs. Nothing beats a good drinking song while scrolling..... :o

I can't remember yesterday but I can remember to words for sangs from the 50's & 60"s=I was out in my garage one day just scrolling away and listening to music using my i-pod . I guess I don't sing as well as I think because a neighbor came over and asked if I was okay--she thought I was yelling for help--she just doesn't appreciate good music--Thumbs

I listen to music sometimes and talk radio others, depends on the day.  But I have found myself at times scrolling to the beat or speed of the song on the radio, that's when I have to turn it down, bound to screw up something if I don't.

I don't listen to a lot of things, they are just a background noise which keeps me company when the saw and vacuum cleaners are off.  But they are there and that is good.
