Don't know where you are located but Dewalt has parts available on their web site http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?isId=true&productNumber=DW788&selectedType=21612 (http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?isId=true&productNumber=DW788&selectedType=21612).  Note there is a type 1 and a type 2 saw.

erplacement http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ (http://www.ereplacementparts.com/) also has parts for the 788.

Finally, there are local service centres across the country.
