i'm replacing the old dryer vent in the basement window, of coarse the plexiglass cracked when i tried to remove the old vent, pipe and caulk, so off to the hardware store i go. i knew nothing good would happen when the young guy used a big magic marker to mark the size. but anyways it's about 1/16" too big on one side and about 3/16" on the other. i know that's not a score and snap deal (from past experience). cutting the circle for the vent shouldn't be a big deal, but the 1/16" cut could be troublesome. any suggestions on what blade to use? thanks in advance, gramps

Masking tape over the cut line will let you get a clean cut.

A coarse file and sand paper and patients.
It's a lot of work and no fun but, in my opinion it is the best way to get a smooth edge when working on getting such a small amount removed from a Plexiglas piece.
You can score a line along the correct dimension and work down to it just to give you a goal to work to.

If you have a router and a straight flush cut bit with a bearing, clamp a straight edge to it and just rout it off

I'd take it back and make them re-cut one that's the right size.

I cut plexi a LOT. Put clear tape on both sides mark the cut and using a #9 skiptooth or #9 reverse make your cut. The clear tape will act as a lube for the blade. After the cut it should be smooth however should it not be a quick running over the rough area with some 150 grit will take care of it. Just an fyi magic marker is easily cleaned off using alcohol.
