well personally i never played the game but according to the amount of people that play it in this town it's quite the fun evening. and sense i made this one for someone i have had orders for 3 more in less then 24Hrs

I remember playing a game almost like that when I was a kid, about 60 years ago.LOL> We called it Bonanza. It was played the same way but we put pennies in each pot and if you were able to play the card with the money in it, then you would take that pot.

What method did you use for the lettering? Great job.
-
I too have never heard of the game, but it looks like you have made a fantastic board to play it on.
-
I did The lettering useing waxes paper in my printer i saw it on facebook very easy to do.just cut the waxed paper same size as your printer paper reverse so when you place it on the wood it wont be backwards .dont touch the ink cause it don't dry place it on the wood ink side down on the wood just rub it with your finger or use a plastic card and rub it not to hard that it tears the paper and dont try and move it paper once you have it placed because it well smudge.
-
Thanks for the explanation.
-
your welcome BTW that method is for inkjet printers. go to youtube there a buch on there showing how to transfer pictures to wood ETC.
-
Great job on that one. I Never heard of the game myself either.

That game board looks fantastic. No wonder you got 3 orders. Hope you're being well compensated for such good detail work. Brian

That is really cool that it spins.
It was a big game around here (Ontario) when I was growing up and we played at my Mom's cottage all the time. As we got older the stakes went up.
My grandkids are getting the age to play games and if I can't find ours in storage I will have to make one my self.
Thanks for posting brings back fond memories.

Nice work. I played it as a kid and then with my own kids. Sometimes used pennies, sometimes used popcorn kernels. Always a fun evening.
