Title: Oldie but Goodie....Cribbage Board.... :+}

Mom went to Heaven a couple years ago.  I kind of inherited this board.   Long, long ago Mom, Dad and I played Cribbage almost Daily.  Of course .... Against each other. 
Along with Pinocle, Hearts, Canasta, Spades and good ole Gin Rummy.  Remember these games? 

My Dad has been gone since 1981.  Not sure exactly when I made this board, but before 1981 anyway.
So this board is OLD.  I vaguely remember making it.   As you see my Artist ability wasn't that great.

That is a nice remembrance Danny.  You might wish to write the facts down on a card or something and attach it to the game so that later members of the family will know what all that meant.

Now that is special.  You have every right to be very proud of it and the great memories it represents.

My Father passed away in 1981 also.  There is not a day goes buy that I don't think about him and my Mom.  Like you I was fortunate to have the greatest parents ever.

I think that is a great piece of workmanship, it was made and used with love.  A family heirloom.

     The awful thing about having this cribbage board is....I can't remember the last time I played!
Remember Mom and I playing games sometimes, but not very often.  Oh well.  Times Change.  Danny  :+}

It's a very nice cribbage board, with some very special memories attatched to it, treasure it for all time.
