Hi,
New guy here from the central valley in California. After 20+ years in the corporate world, i have found myself as being a stay at home dad to our 5 year old son. This has brought back my love for some of my old hobbies which include wood working. Its been a lot of fun because my son likes to jump up on the chair next to me to see what i am working on and to see if he can help out. It beats the computer and xbox if you ask me. So evryday after school we spend a few hours out in our makeshift shop in the garage and and just build things.
Im looking forward to posting some of the stuff we come up with as well as learning more about how to do things.

Hi Andy and welcome. I hail from Ontario , Canada and must admit to some weather envy. Out to the shop up hear would mean some serious shovelling at the moment. Good to get the kids in on the fun isn't it? That is what started me down the path. I needed something that both me and my severely challenged daughter could do together during my stay at home poppa years , and this worked great!
