box is black walnut & the ribbon & bow are poplar & cedar (box is 6"x6"x 3")
Word are is made of yellow pine

Holy cow, that is some nice work.  I especially like the box.  That is a real eye catcher!

Nice work.
Is the text done as a segmentation - individual letters on a backer like intarsia?
