Title: Had to start over
Post by: Charles Dearing on November 12, 2014, 03:16:11 pm
This is a different profile from my other one. The other one is CharlesDearing (without the space).  I had a hard drive fry the other day...worst two days of my life.
Luckily I did NOT lose many patterns because when my computer started acting up I backed everything I could find onto external hard drives. Thank GOD I had the foresight to do so.
Long story short, this is the only profile you can contact me through because I don't know the email address, etc that I used for the other one. So don't send personal messages to the "me" without the space in the name (and profile picture of me singing). ;)

Glad you didn't loose too much--my old one went down just after I had download the pattern's from Rick Gray's  site before he closed down. lost all of those patterns because I said I'd do it later. with computers sometimes there's no later. but glad your up and running--Richard aka thumbs

It's never nice when a hard drive fries, but at least you managed to do a back up before you lost everything

May I recommend the "Clickfree"  I use it to download every thing on my computer at least twice a week.  While I am home it is always hooked to my computer and everything is downloaded as it happens.  All you have to do is plug it in and forget it.  I had to redo my checking account after I got to Az and was able to pull in information off the Clickfree and there it was.  I don't think I have to say I don't work nor anything to do with the company.  Just a happy customer, just like I am for Charlie.
