The horses I made for my daughter. The one on the left is Maple on an unknown wood base. The one on the right is Cherry on Cherry. She will give one away as a present - her choice.
I made the Maple on yesterday and the other a while back. They are both sprayed with shellac.

(BTW, in case anyone is wondering why I've cut a number of projects - it's because I've been out of work for the past 7 weeks due to an on work injury to my right arm. I tore the bicep tendon off the bone trying to catch someone falling off a 6 foot ladder. I should be going back to work in a week or so, but I'll still be unable to lift with my right arm any heavy tools until probably the end of the year! I can scroll all I want though!)

Nice work karl, hey I know what you are going through .Last year I dislocated my elbow and broke my wrist, put me out of commission all summer.yes you guessed it, I fell off a ladder, had no one to catch me lol
