That's a nice looking piece. What wood did you use for the compound cut?

I used a piece of basswood I  have.The 1st one came out good, but second one I broke.Since then I have read a tip .not go complete full cut as to keep pieces together for strength.then cut off lsst holding spots.then wiggle it apart, dust stays in to make it more fun lol.

I was playing around one day and made that ornament out of the only thing I had on hand at the time which was Pine and managed to break it only seconds after cutting.  Next time I will use a better wood.
Yours came out great.  VERY nice work and thanks for sharing with us.
