The portrait patterns of the Cartwright gang I used to put this project together were done by a member on another forum. Thanks Dan! 24x12 BB ply double stacked using combination of spiral and flat blades. ?Ponderosa? cutout is stained with golden oak. Backer is painted flat black. Frame is rough cut cedar, half lap joint with twine wrap. Thanks again Dan and all the other designers who let us enjoy the fruits of their labor.

That is a great piece. Why can't we have good shows like that on TV anymore. I really miss Gunsmoke!

Excellent work Pete. That could be a key piece in someones western decor. Thanks for sharing this with us. I really like the frame idea for this project.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I probably worked on this thing for 20 hours over a couple weeks, from pattern inception to framing.
Thanks again to Dan for the portrait patterns I used in this piece!

Just showed this to my husband and he sat there with his mouth open drooling, I think he liked it. You did an excellent job of setting out and cutting.
