I made two signposts for a Youth theatre group. (http://simplux.eu/)
they have two plays this year and for both I made a signpost.
(my daughter plays in one of them!!)
the crew of last years play:

both signposts are made from scrap-wood pine and poplar ply.
both had to have a touch of scroll.... ;)
Blue/white one is made out of old transportation pallets.
the other is mode from old garden post and 1,5" oak slabs finished in BLO.
words are printed on paper and glued on.
base has 4 wheels so they can push that thing around during different parts of the play.

Nice work. I hope that oak job doesn't fall on one of them. :o
What does "Decibel" mean in English? (We have our own meaning for that word)

in Dutch Decibel is the same as in English,
I don't know what it will be in the play, there is a book "king of Katoren" with the same name as the play.
in the book there are birds in decibel that scream so loud people get deaf.
but I heard they rewrite the script, so will se what it turned in to.... LOL
performance is at June 14, so I just have to wait ;)

So "Decibel" is the name of a town in the play? Makes sense for the sign.

I use to make stage scenery for a living. You get an A+ in my book. :)
