Made a bible verse plaque of Phil 4:7 in Dutch.
Encouragement gift for an ill acquaintance from church.
Translation:
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
Used 5/32 birch plywood, stained the backer in oak color.
Did a stack cut and have three now, so I made different backer shapes, on one you can see the dove fly off.
Just curious which shape you like best?
Only need a few sprays of lacquer, but good enough to show you guys and gals.
pictures are a bit blurry , made with old cellphone..
Pattern had some breath taken cuts in it.

Very nicely done Marcel. I like your wood choices and you cutting of this is great. Thanks for sharing this with us. I am sure your friend will get inspiration from this. Personally I like the bottom ( last one of the backings ). The last one helps make the words stand out better in my opinion.

Marcel - you have a great skill in cutting text. I think text is the hardest scroll work because we expect it to be perfect - like a printer output. I have your Sawyers' Day ornament hung above my desk and I am impressed whenever I look at the precision of that small text.
Thanks for showing these to us.

Yes - very good cutting & I also like the bottom, more solid backing. Brian

Thanks for sharing and God Bless!
If you find the time, would you mind making that pattern in English, please?
Thank you!
