i bought one of those "in great shape" saws. it is at dewalt being rebuilt at the tune of 260.00. i only paid 150.00 for it but with the price of the saw and the repairs i could have bought a new one. mine looked good from the outside but after it was opened up i could see the damage. the case was worn out and the arms had to be replaced. just saying...

Hate to rain on your parade, but I would have to agree with your wife. $100 difference (Woodcraft has them on sale often to) for warrantied and newer by 6 years?

Let's see, Buy a possible piece of junk for x dollars or one I can turn into junk myself for a 100 dollars more. What should I do??

Listen to (SWMBO) your wife, she makes a lot of sense on this one. :)

Hi Jim:
Why buy someone else's headaches.....
Why is it for sale?
Personally, I would buy new.
