Greetings All....
Been woodworking since I was 13, but just recently bought my first scroll saw, a DeWalt 788.
Right now, it's primary mission is to cut my son's Pinewood Derby cars and those of our den.
As soon as the pack heard I had a scroll saw, I became really "popular".
Anyways, I know I'll have a ton of questions, so bear with me.
But so far, this forum has been great, even in the couple weeks I've
been lurking, I've picked up a tremendous amount of info.
Looking forward to interacting with everyone and seeing what
can be done with my 788.
---Paul

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum. I'm Julie from Texas. Glad you found us. I would have killed for a scrollsaw back in our pinewood derby days. I used a coping saw and a LOT of sandpaper.

Greetings from South Dakota Paul, welcome to the addiction.

Thanks for the welcome all, much appreciated.
**Julie - I know how you feel, I've been using a coping saw the last three years. I tried a sabre saw, but that made a mess of the block!
