don't know what I am doing wrong? keep trying to make pattern request with photo attached, but each time, it tells me I am timed out and that there is no subject message or content - am confused! now you know why I can't make my own patterns............
the subject is a photo of a glider about to take off and I would dearly like to cut it as it is my glider that I bought as an insurance write off and spent a year rebuilding. it may be too comples as it includes some hills with trees and snow and two aircraft
hope someone can tell what I might be doing wrong
thanks
Gill

Gill, at the risk of stating the obvious and embarrassing myself are you running the photo through Steve's pixsizer before you try to poste it? Cheers, Barry.

I can empathize with that. Did a search on this site and I couldn't find it. If you'd like to forward me your e-mail I'll send a copy(bdodich@shaw.ca).

Hey Gill glad you got everything worked out with uploading your picture. I was going To try to make a pattern for you but beofre I do I was wondering what you were looking for in the pattern. Did you want Just your glider, with a little bit of background or did you want the full pic. with the other plane in it?
Travis.

Travis, thank you, the basics of launching a glider are the glider, the wingtip holder and the tow plane :)
the back ground and if possible the runway would be nice

here's My try at the picture. It was a little blurry to work with. Not sure if some cuts can be cut or not because its so small and I think there's a few tight places to work around. I also added the people and a few clouds to the sky.
-
thank you, will give it a go :)

Travis
had a go at your pattern, just did it on hardboard cos it is my first try with spiral blades, but think you will agree your pattern looks good, going to practice a bit more with spiral blades before I try again :)

Looks good, you done a great job for the first try. Glad I could help out and I'm happy to know that it worked out good for you.
