Title: Names to Hang on Wall

Recently I have had 2 requests for names that could be hung on a wall. Does anyone know of a software or tool to make patterns for names? I know the one on the website does names for a desk or key chain, but I need one that creates them to look good on a wall.

just use inkscape I make all my name plaques using that

Inkscape? Is that freeware or shareware? I will have to look that up. Still open to other suggestions and comments too. Thanks for this one.

yes it is freeware (public domain)
download it and play around with it, any problems shout up

Okay, I have inkscape now, but it looks intimidating. What font would you suggest?

Black Rose is a very nice font for scrolling names.

I don't see black rose font. Guess I will just have to play around with it. If anyone else has a specific font good for making names to hang on the wall let me know.

Okay, I just found a tutorial for this software done by Steve Good. It was perfect. I have this all figured out. THank for all who have helped and thanks Steve Good. Your Youtube Video was excellent.

don't know Inksape very well, and I use Corel, easy to use, only no freeware....
but as I understand the Inkscape works for you, right?
